Mmmm

Everything is Satisfactual

Outside Mansion post-drenching. And everyone says, "Happy Birthday,
Jim!" when they see my badge.

Let's all go to the Laughing Place

Pre-Splash Mountain drenching

Yo ho, yo ho...

Looks like Birthday to me!!

Happy Birthday to me!

Me, the party shirt for my birthday, and Monorail Pink. To my right is
Disney-created Bay Lake. I am now approaching the Great Ceremonial
House at Disney's Polynesian resort, where I will find shopping and
dining with a South Seas flavor.

And the winner is...

Herman's Hermits for best Flower Power Epcot band. Partly because they reminded me of a song I used to play over and over and over, Dandy. But also because, unlike some other bands (I'm looking in your direction, Tony Orlando and David Cassidy), Peter Noone actually SANG the songs people came to hear and didn't chat his way through them or let the audience do all the singing.

Another Day in Paradise

As seen from the IllumiNations platform in front of the Italy pavillion

Flag in flux

The American flag that flies over the American Adventure has 15 stars
& 15 stripes, reminiscent of the time when they thougt they would be
able to add a star and a stripe for each state. After New Hampshire
and Kentucky, they decided it was going to be impractical and adopted
13 stripes with one star for each state. The former history teacher/
former Hall of Presidents Cast Member was working today.

Weirdest plant EVER!

Vitamin D dose

Plus my hat and sunglasses are making a tan line on my face that makes it look like I'm wearing a ninja mask.

Space Mountain

From the practically secret walkway between the train station and
Tomorrowland

YES!!!

I approve

The monorail actually wraps around from the back.

On the Main Street train

Waiting for the parade floats to clear the track in Frontierland. I
don't remember ever riding this train before, but I doubt it's
possible I've never been on it.

Hush, little baby (bear)...

Wilderness Lodge

I do love the character totem pole in the lobby.

Ahhhhhh

Afternoon on the verandah at the Boardwalk

Swantastic

Late afternoon at the Swan/Dolphin dock

Ok then.

My exchange with a nice man from New Jersey as I was sitting down with a chili dog at the table they were vacating:

Him: You want those napkins? (pointing to a pile of napkins that was
still on the table)

Me: No, thanks, I got some.

Him: So you want ME to throw them out?

Me: Yes, thanks. (no offense to your mother)

Terror-fying

View from the top of the Tower of Terror. Excellent ride except for
the dork in the front row taking a picture while the Tower was taking
a picture of the terror on the riders' faces.

Brer Rabbit

This is the statue in front of Cinderella's castle that was carved by
our awesome Disney Institute instructor, Charlie Kurtz (back when
there was a Disney Institute)
